Re:wild seeks a strategic Marketing Manager to design and implement campaigns and strategic partnerships that build the Re:wild brand and raise awareness around the importance of biodiversity in a cohesive and compelling way. As a critical member of the Marketing and Communications team, the Marketing Manager will create strategies to increase visibility and engagement with Re:wild’s brand and key priorities.

This position reports to the Director of Marketing and Brand.
Digital strategy
Design and implement strategies to generate impact and build Re:wild’s audience via campaigns, email, social and online events (as well as driving engagement with live events Re:wild is hosting, sponsoring, etc.)
Develop strategies for growing Re:wild’s email database
Create welcome journeys for new email subscribers and followers
Build out email campaigns for urgent and ongoing fundraising & conservation priorities and special events, in partnership with the Development team
Research, design and implement approaches for leveraging new outreach channels and methods, such as podcasts, text line, etc.
Brand building and campaign strategy
Work with the Director of Marketing and Brand to refine brand engagement strategy and build the Re:wild brand and audience
Develop creative briefs for campaigns and strategic partnerships with key messages, clear calls to action, and deliverables mapping to audience building and fundraising goals, starting with Re:wild Your Life (a content hub with direct ways people can support biodiversity, featuring corporate partners)
Create campaign pitch decks outlining the strategy, content, and value propositions for potential corporate partner support for campaigns including Re:wild Your Fridge, Re:wild Your Life, The Search for Lost Species, and more
Interface with corporate partners, NGO partners, and influencers for brand campaigns and outreach
Project manage brand campaigns, including building content (video scripts, social posts, email campaign copy), executing on deliverables, leveraging partnerships, and tracking engagements on calls to action
Report on campaign success, incorporating learnings into future campaigns
Education / Experience: At least 5-10 years experience building successful campaigns that fundraise for environmental or social causes; bachelor’s degree in a related field, such as communications, marketing or advertising; experience and comfort using CRM systems (Salesforce preferred), Email campaign software (Mailchimp or Hubspot preferred), Project management software (Airtable preferred), Adobe Photoshop & Express, and G-Suite applications (particularly Mail, Drive, Sheets, Slides)

This is a full-time, exempt position.
Position location is flexible/remote within the US, with candidates located in the Washington, DC metro area preferred.
Projected salary range of $70-90,000, with the final determination to be made commensurate with the candidate’s experience.
Re:wild provides medical, dental, vision, short- and long-term disability, and life insurance, with Re:wild covering 80% or more of the premiums. Re:wild also offers a 403b retirement plan with up to 3% match after a year of employment.
Re:wild observes 16 paid holidays each calendar year. Full-time employees can also accrue the following annually: up to 15 days of vacation leave, 12 days of illness leave and 2 volunteer days.
