Anamaria Rodriguez

Anamaria focuses on monitoring, design, and reporting of conservation and international development programs. She comes to us most recently from the NDC Partnership Support Unit, where she tracked climate finance across 200+ partners and countries, and from World Resources Institute, where she supported both organization-wide and USAID-funded global initiatives.

Before that, she was doing the kind of work that feels close to home for Re:wild: collaborating with local and Indigenous organizations on biodiversity conservation in Colombia's most threatened landscapes. She worked alongside two of our own partners - Amazon Conservation Team and ProCAT - on Red List updates for Chiribiquete National Park KBA and biodiversity baselines with the Kogui people of the Sierra Nevada de Santa Marta. She holds a Master of Environmental Management from Yale.

Originally from Colombia, Anamaria is now based in Washington, DC, where she spends her free time biking around with Marciano (her senior dog with serious capybara energy), baking plant-based treats, and attending outdoor salsa events.
