As Chief of Staff at Re:wild, Alexa collaborates to help drive strategic initiatives and high-impact partnerships, serving as a catalyst for the CEO's and Board’s priorities to help accelerate and deliver on Re:wild's bold conservation vision with partners around the world.
Before joining Re:wild, Alexa spent over 13 years at the Wildlife Conservation Society (WCS), building high-impact, durable conservation programs and partnerships across the globe, with a focus on the Americas, including Mesoamerica and the Rocky Mountains. She contributed to global programs on protected and conserved area management, strategic planning, partnerships, stakeholder engagement, communications, and donor engagement. Alexa also represented WCS in international coalitions focused on protected and conserved area management, including the SMART Partnership and the Universal Ranger Support Alliance (URSA).
Earlier in her career, Alexa worked at Ogilvy & Mather, developing communications strategies aimed at advancing social good. That experience sparked her passion for storytelling, a skill she now brings to her work in conservation.
She lives in Los Angeles, where she enjoys camping, traveling, reading books, and spending time outdoors with her husband, daughter (a budding explorer), and their rescue dog (who is a classic foster fail).
