As a member of the operations team, Lauren helps with processing payables and receivables as well as other administrative tasks to support the daily flow of funds for the organization.
Lauren joined Re:wild in 2024 with a background in nonprofit fundraising, most recently as the Associate Director of Grants for the Austin Theatre Alliance. Prior to that she spent several years working in local restaurants while volunteering with organizations around Austin such as the Austin Bat Refuge, Urban Roots, and Safe Alliance.
She is excited to combine her nonprofit experience with her passion for the natural world to help protect the wild places and creatures that make our planet so special. Outside of work, Lauren enjoys spending time hiking, crafting, gardening, and canoe-camping. Lauren was born and raised in Texas and currently lives in a small town outside of Austin.
