Tiny species, big opportunity.

Kicking off in September 2025, our partnership with Happy Color invites users to color 30 exclusive art pieces featuring rare animals, created by Happy Color’s in‑house artists in a variety of styles. As users color these images, they collectively fill a shared progress bar. Once the bar is completed, Happy Color will donate $100,000 to help save the Silver-backed Chevrotain - a tiny, deer-like species that was once thought lost to science until its remarkable rediscovery in Vietnam in 2017.

Through the simple act of digital coloring, Happy Color enthusiasts will directly contribute to conservation efforts on the ground. The funding will support work to boost wild populations of the Vietnamese mouse-deer, rescue animals from the illegal wildlife trade, and protect the habitats that countless threatened species depend on for survival.

Bringing Elusive Wildlife to Life

It’s not just the Chevrotain that’s featured — one of Happy Color’s special designs showcases the Saola, one of the world’s rarest large mammals This Critically Endangered species lives in the Annamite Mountains in Vietnam and Laos, where their biggest threat is poaching—they get caught in the snares set out for other animals. Re:wild supports and works alongside the Saola Working Group (SWG) and local partners to protect the Saola and its habitat.
