Description
Join us to explore how global assessments, community science, micro-grants and targeted surveys can work together to help search for and conserve lost firefly species: from identifying priorities and mobilizing searches to documenting rediscoveries and informing future conservation action. Speakers will share how the IUCN SSC Firefly Specialist Group, community science platforms like the Firefly Atlas and iNaturalist, and focused field searches are supporting and building knowledge of overlooked, rare and lost species of fireflies.
