Conservation Pathways for Youth Program Fund
Supporting young conservationists from historically underrepresented communities across the US with scholarships, fellowships, internships, and mentorships as they step onto and rise up the environmental career ladder.
Protecting and restoring the places and species that sustain all life on Earth requires a growing global movement of people equipped with an education and skills and ready to meet mounting challenges. However, fewer than one in four US environmental organizations has career pathway programming, which limits access to training, mentoring and career development support – often raising even more barriers for emerging young conservationists from historically underrepresented communities.
While nature leads the way with her richness in biodiversity, we must follow suit with equitable and inclusive solutions to the environmental crises. Re:wild’s Conservation Pathways for Youth program focuses on solutions that are powerful enough to remove barriers, create new onramps into conservation careers, and ensure that youth from historically underrepresented communities across the US have the agency they want and need to protect the planet.
Re:wild partners with local organizations and universities across the US to support more than 600 scholarships, fellowships, and equitably paid internship and mentorship opportunities for young conservation leaders from historically underrepresented communities, supporting them to step onto and rise up the environmental career ladder to fulfill their potential.
100% of your donation goes directly to support scholarships, fellowships, internships and mentorships for young conservationists across the US striving to rewild our planet.
