Conservation Leadership Accelerator Fund
Equipping conservation leaders and unlocking organizational potential
In the face of unprecedented pressures on our planet, the world needs more capable conservation organizations and skilled conservation leaders. They need to be able to work effectively within movements, networks, and partnerships to achieve the greatest impact as quickly as possible. Lasting success will require these organizations and leaders to have a clear vision, management acumen, access to innovation and ability to apply new approaches.
Re:wild works with over 500 partners in more than 80 countries, including a large network of regional and local organizations and conservation leaders that we support to implement solutions to biodiversity loss and climate change. We are in position to respond to each of these partners’ needs to further strengthen their ability to deliver high-impact conservation results.
The Conservation Leadership Accelerator Fund has supported:
- Red Colobus Conservation Network members from across Africa to strengthen their project management and fundraising skills in order to advance their efforts to conserve the highly endangered Red Colobus monkey.
- Conservation leaders from Fananby, Groupe d’étude et de recherche (GERP), and Association des Guides de Andasibe in Madagascar to increase their ability to lead more effectively and unlock the potential of their teams in the restoration of Madagascar's forests and protection of endangered lemurs.
- Scaling of proven conservation leadership development approaches, through a vibrant, global network of organizations, institutions and agencies committed to ensuring that conservation leaders of tomorrow are resilient and in the best position to protect our planet.
