Lucas Bustamante

    Lucas Bustamante has been bitten by countless snakes, chased by elephants, and dived along with hundreds of sharks. He is an Ecuadorian biologist and wildlife photojournalist whose primary goal is to use photography to promote environmental and cultural conservation. Lucas is a co-founder of Savia Fund and Tropical Herping, and an Associate Fellow of the International League of Conservation Photographers (iLCP). He manages conservation and photography projects in different countries throughout South America, Africa, and Asia. Lucas is an author of some books, such as Reptiles of the Galapagos, and he has described eight new species. Lucas spends his time diving and playing soccer when he breaks from work.
