Carrie has 20 years of marketing, brand and communications experience in the nonprofit and media sectors. She was an instrumental part of the team that helped launch the Re:wild brand in 2021, and develops campaigns and strategies that help build awareness about the importance of the wild as well as enlists the support of influencers and brands aligned with our mission to protect and restore it.

Prior to Re:wild, Carrie was an independent consultant for organizations including Lonely Whale, Georgetown University, NPR affiliate WAMU, and National Geographic Magazine. Before consulting, she was the Director of Corporate Communications for the National Geographic Society, where she worked with executives and explorers to tell their stories through conference appearances, media, social media, donor engagement, and thought leadership.

From 2018 to 2020, Carrie served as a Fellow in Residence at the German Marshall Fund, where she worked on the U.S. State Department’s Young Transatlantic Innovation Leadership Initiative, and also taught marketing as an adjunct professor at The George Washington University School of Business. She lives in the Washington, D.C. area with her husband, their three children, and little white dog.
